Centenary of the Masaryk Aviation League

At the Ethnographic Exhibition of the Municipal Museum in Běliště, Železný Brod, an exhibition will be held from March 14 to May 31, 2026, commemorating the centenary of the founding of the Masaryk Aviation League.

During the First Republic, the Masaryk Aviation League was one of the largest organizations promoting aviation. Its aim was to foster public interest in flying, develop technical knowledge, and strengthen society’s relationship with modern aviation. An active branch of this organization also operated in Železný Brod, engaging local residents in promoting aviation activities.

The exhibition will present historical photographs, period documents, and other materials that illustrate the League’s activities and its presence in the region. The exhibition is intended for anyone interested in regional history, aviation, or the First Republic period.
