Days of Folk Architecture 2023

On the weekend of July 22 and 23, another edition of the Days of Folk Architecture of the Liberec Region took place. Běliště joined it this year as well, and thanks to the financial and media support of the Regional Office of the Liberec Region, a beautiful cultural program was able to take place. Saturday's performance of the Hodkovice amateur theater, whose actors arrived at the venue two hours in advance to perceive the space in front of the house, transported the audience to a world where good triumphs over evil. Mrs. Hana Kristelová and Štěpánka Kurfiřtová answered the questions of curious people interested in dyeing and sanding. On Sunday, there was a program prepared by Lenka Hřibová from the Semínko země association, aimed at families with children. Children could try grinding grain on a mill, walking on stilts, hammering cloves, beating a hoop, washing clothes on a roller, dyeing canvas with flowers or making elves from natural materials or a boat from bark. In total, approximately 250 people visited the museum in these two days. Thank you all for creating a wonderful atmosphere and we look forward to the next years.
